Following a first look at the collaboration back in July, Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER officially announces the release of its Nike Overbreak SP.
A fairly new addition to Nike’s footwear lineup, the Overbreak combines the design features of the classic Daybreak on the upper with the wild React sole unit introduced on the Overreact from Nike’s experimental ISPA division. The Undercover version comes in four color options, “Beige/White,” “Black/White,” “White/Black-Gold-Red”and “Grey/Black-Red.” Each features a rose graphic embroidery on the lateral Swoosh, a motif frequently used on the Takahashi x Nike Gyakusou running line. Other design features include spike texturing on the vamp, “CHAOS/BALANCE” lettering on the toe box, “JUN TAKAHASHI/UNDERCOVER” branding on the heels, and a speckled pattern on the midsole.
All four colorways of the Undercover x Nike Overbreak launch globally on February 19th via the Undercover website, nike.com/nikeLAB, select Undercover Japan stores, and other select Nike accounts. Retail price is ¥17,500 (approx $165 USD).
