UNIQLO and acclaimed fashion designer Jil Sander have announced their second collaborative collection since the revival of the +J line, originally released from 2009-2011. Following their FW20 collection debut, the duo is back to present a collection dedicated to the emerging Spring and Summer seasons.

Jil Sander comments on the collection, “the overall idea is sophistication, a kind of purity that lets us think of regeneration and a fresh start.” This concept of regeneration is presented in the collection’s focus on the sense of emerging from the darkness of winter. The lineup’s controlled sculptural tailoring emphasizes movement, lightness, and space, highlighting the idea of enjoying the light and energy of the Spring/Summer season.

The collection releases in a full range of adult sizes with retail prices from $99.90-190.99 USD. Highlighting elements include the lightweight techno silk blends used in women’s offerings, from a graphic half-sleeved dress and flared skirt to a subtly refined summer parka. The men’s lineup features exceptional tailoring, seen in the carefully sculpted 3D volume of the oversized hooded long coat, as well as the crisp fit classic polo.

The UNIQLO +J SS21 collection will be available beginning March 19th in Asia and March 25th in the US via uniqlo.com as well as in stores. Check out the lookbook below ahead of the collection’s release.
