Original Story (05/25/20): Uniqlo has unveiled a forthcoming capsule collaboration under their Uniqlo UT line between Takashi Murakami and Billie Eilish.

The collaborative offering encompasses multiple different t-shirt offerings in men’s, women’s, and children’s sizing. The pieces blend Murakami and Eilish’s playful iconographies, resulting in designs that range from simple to maximalist. Although this marks their first venture into the world of apparel, the artists are no strangers to each other: Murakami directed Eilish’s music video for “you should see me in a crown” last year.

The collection continues Uniqlo UT’s efforts to blend accessible fashion with wide-ranging forces of youth culture and entertainment, and the line has also recently released collections featuring Gundam, Super Mario, and renowned graffiti artist Futura (among many others.)

The Uniqlo UT Takashi Murakami x Billie Eilish collection releases at Uniqlo’s online store on May 25th and “in stores as they reopen” on May 29th. Check out photos of some the collaborative designs below and preview the full collection on Uniqlo’s site now.

Update (05/25/20): The Billie Eilish collection by Takashi Murakami for Uniqlo UT is available now. Head to Uniqlo’s website to purchase and check out some additional photos below.
