Fashion giant UNIQLO has announced that it will release two rounds of a collection featuring characters and imagery from the immensely popular anime/manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba under its UT line.
Uniqlo UT regularly sees graphic tee collaborations with popular artists, video games, and manga/anime series, and Demon Slayer seems like a natural candidate to grace UNIQLO tees. The series is set in Taisho-era japan and follows Tanjiro, a charcoal seller who is plunged into a world of dangerous monsters when his family is killed by a demon. The collection of tees feature bold graphics that showcase Tanjiro and other characters from the series such as Kagura, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Muzan, and Akaza. While the first drop will focus primarily on the series’ manga adaptation, a second release will showcase imagery and characters from the series’ anime.
The must-have collection for Demon Slayer fans will be offered in unisex styles as well as children’s sizing, and it’s set to release via UNIQLO’s webstore and select physical locations starting on September 10th in Europe and September 14th in the US. The anime follow-up drop will come sometime in October, just in time for the release of Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train.
