UNIQLO UT “Pokémon Meets Artist” Collection

Following the release of the Pokémon All-Stars collection, UNIQLO is back with a new Pokémon UT collection. For this “Pokémon Meets Artist” collection, UNIQLO UT calls on Japanese artist Meguru Yamaguchi and British artist James Jarvis to put their spin on the anime franchise.

The collection features short-sleeve tees and long-sleeve sweatshirts for adults and kids adorned with Pokémon graphics created by the two artists. Yamaguchi’s contributions are more on the “cool” side, with graphics showcasing characters like Mewtwo and Pikachu in action poses. Jarvis’ designs are more playful, such as the one with a Slowpoke laying atop a Psyduck with the phrase “We Are Friends Forever” and the Ditto tee with the phrase “Think Outside The Box!”. Psyduck appears to be a personal favorite for Jarvis, as another design features a goofy caricature of the water-type duck Pokémon on the back and the phrase “My Memory Fails Me!” embroidered across the chest.

Already launched overseas, the UNIQLO UT Pokémon Meets Artist collection will be available on Thursday, October 21st at UNIQLO stores in North America and UNIQLO.com.
