Vans x Shake Junt is Inspired by Chicken & Waffles

Vans has deepened their already eternal ties to the world of skateboarding by teaming up with Shake Junt, an OG skate brand with a well-known array of riders and in-house gear.

The collection features a variety of Vans’ Pro silhouettes along with a playful selection of apparel with design influence from Shake Junt team riders Kader Sylla, Dustin Dolllin, Rowan Zorilla, and Kyle Walker. The collection features four footwear styles made by skaters for skaters: the Kyle 2 Pro, Old Skool Pro, Slip-on Pro, and an Era Pro. Shake Junt’s DNA shines with the collection’s money green, black, and gold color palette. Graphics of skateboards, dollar signs, chicken wings, and 66 ounce bottles (a nod to Vans’ founding year, 1966) are seen throughout each of the pieces.

Shake Junt creates skateboarding hardware, bolts, griptape, and apparel. The brand features a long list of riders including professional and amateur skaters. Recently, Shake Junt created the “No Justice No Peace” Tee and is donating 100 percent of the proceeds to South Los Angeles non-profit Social Justice Learning Institute.

The Vans x Shake Junt collaboration is available on the Vans webstore now with prices ranging from $15 to $80 USD.
