Vans is releasing a fully licensed USPS collection to honor the workers of the United States Postal Service. As many of the employees face the elements to deliver mail and packages, Vans thought it only right to present a series of shoes and apparel that can do the same.

Collectively, the collection includes the Sk8-Hi MTE-1, Sk8-Hi Reissue, the Authentic, and the Old Skool. Various USPS-specific elements like blue dressings and the eagle logo can be found throughout. Starting with the Sk8-Hi MTE-1, the shoe takes on a Blue Fog shade. The collar is coated in Sherpa fleece, sitting on a vulcanized all-terrain outsole. The tongue features a reflective badge while the collar is the home of the eagle logo. The Sk8-Hi Reissue is more specifically designed. It takes hits from the Priority Mail box, drawing on a Priority Mail pattern all over the silhouette. Red laces break up the loudness, but do wrap everything up.

As for the Old Skool, white leather comprises the construction. The color palette reflects the signature palette for the USPS. Details like a U.S. Mail stamp, tongue stamp badge and USPS Priority Mail shoebox round out the offering. To finish off with the Authentic, the shoe looks good in light blue denim material. A tongue stamp nods to the Postal Service’s stamps while more branding is found from heel to toe.

To go with the shoes, Vans is offering a series of apparel pieces. The offering includes a ‘Bulk Mail’ hoodie and t-shirt, and a ‘Priority’ beanie. The hoodie is cut from 320gsm fleece. Details include a stitched USPS truck, sleeve graphic, and an oversized print on the back. The t-shirt sports a graphic chest pocket and an oversized graphic of its own on the back. As for the beanie accessory, USPS and Vans branding appear embroidered on the front and back.

Earlier this year, Nike had plans to release a USPS-themed Air Force 1 Experimental, though it was not officially licensed by the U.S. Postal Service. The USPS caught wind of it and released a statement denouncing the shoe, though the two parties eventually settled the issue. The Air Force 1 released in May as an officially licensed product of the USPS.

The Vans x USPS collection will be available on November 29th via Vans.com, Vans stores, FootLocker.com, and Foot Locker locations. The Sk8-Hi Reissue will be Foot Locker exclusive and drops on January 20th. Shoes are priced from $65 to $115 while apparel ranges from $28 to $75 USD.
