Virgil Abloh has been showing a lot of love to his hometown of Chicago recently. In addition to his NikeLab Re-Creation Center and his upcoming “Figures of Speech” exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, the designer is also opening a Louis Vuitton pop-up shop in Chicago.
The residency is in celebration of the Louis Vuitton men’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection designed by Virgil Abloh. The range of items that will be available are all tinted orange and were designed specifically to complement the MCA exhibition. Items in the collection includes footwear, sunglasses, belts, backpacks, and more.
Virgil’s Louis Vuitton Chicago residency begins on June 9th at 1100 West Randolph Street in the West Loop neighborhood and will run until July 7.
