Wacko Maria and Timberland come together for their first-ever collaboration, bringing the Tokyo-based label’s signature animal print designs to the Classic 2-Eye Boat Shoe.
The collection includes two colorways of the easy slip-on style: Purple Leopard and Brown Leopard. Both feature handsewn mixed-media uppers made with hairy calf leather and Better Leather from a tannery rated silver for its environmental practices. Additional details include a 360-degree rawhide lacing system, EVA 3/4 footbeds for shock absorption and cushioning, and durable rubber lug outsoles made from 34% recycled rubber compound.
The campaign directed by Wacko Maria stars Japanese actor Ryehei Matsuda in the dreamlike, glamorous environment of Park Hyatt Tokyo.
The Timberland x Wacko Maria collection drops on Saturday, August 6th at Timberland.com, Timberland stores, and select retailers worldwide.
