It’s rare to see Jordan Brand drop new colorways of the Air Jordan 2, but the silhouette is set to receive a multicolored women’s-exclusive release inspired by Michael Jordan’s earliest rivals in the NBA.
This Air Jordan 2 comes dressed in shades of purple, gold, red, green, blue, and orange. The left shoe is dedicated to the Western Conference with team colors of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Portland Trailblazers, the first two teams to go up against MJ and the Bulls in the NBA Finals. The right shoe pays tribute to the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks of the Eastern Conference. Materials include quilted leather, jersey mesh, basketball-textured leather, satin, and patent leather.
The WMNS Air Jordan 2 WMNS “Rivals” is slated to release on March 5th at select retailers and Nike.com for a retail price of $190 USD.
