Nike is releasing a new women’s edition of the Air Max 97 in partnership with Swarovski just in time for this year’s Air Max Day festivities.
While everyone remembers the OG “Silver Bullet” colorway of the Air Max 97 (which got its own Swarovski edition in 2017), there was also a similar “Polar Obsidian” women’s colorway released in 1997 that swapped out the red Swooshes for blue ones. Nike is paying tribute to this OG women’s colorway by bringing it back, though this time it is upgraded with Swarovski crystal embezzlement throughout the upper.
The WMNS Swarovski x Nike Air Max 97 “Polar Blue” releases on March 25th on Nike SNKRS for a retail price of $400 USD.
