Xbox Consumer Products and 343 Industries have announced a new partnership with Wolverine, the 139-year-old work boot and clothing company. Together, they’ll be launching multiple Halo-themed boots throughout the year, kicking off with the “Master Chief.”
The design of the “Master Chief” boot is based on Wolverine’s Hellcat work boot, though outfitted with special features that draw from Master Chief’s suit. The gold-rated premium full-grain leather upper comes in Master Chief green and includes a hook and loop lace cover over the laces. The lateral heel of the left boot has a “117” patch, Master Chief’s Spartan number, while the right boot features the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) insignia. Another nifty detail is the “Materials Group” logo on the outsole, a nod to the manufacturer of Master Chief’s Mjolnir armor.
The Wolverine x Halo “Master Chief” Boots launch on March 29th at 12pm ET on Wolverine.com/halo. This release is limited to 117 pairs and available in four core collectible sizes.
