Now this is something for the history books, we’ve all seen the classic adidas Superstar silhouette, (shell-toe if you will) so this latest offering from Y-3 is sure to get our sneakerhead heads (I guess that’s a good way to put it) spinning. Though this is a fresh take on a classic silhouette, this still fits right in line with the other Y-3 offerings so far this year (sorry if you’re not a grey/pink/green fan) and the smoothed out ode to the classic Shell-Toe is certainly a welcome one. The unique bracing structure in the back of this pair of kicks may or may not be functional, but no matter what it does it looks damn good doing it. If you’re been waiting for an old-meets-new pair of Y-3’s, hop on this train as we don’t know when it might happen again. Lucky for you guys, these can be copped now. More photos after the jump.
