Kanye West celebrated Mother’s Day with the release of the “Life of the Party” music video, a visual for the cut off of Donda (Deluxe). Similar to the “Heaven and Hell” video, this visual doubles as an ad for Ye’s YEEZY GAP line.
This new video is comprised of photos of Kanye from throughout his childhood, though the photos have been altered. In each photo, the younger versions of Ye (and his family) are now wearing pieces from the forthcoming YEEZY GAP Engineered by Balenciaga drop. Deepfake technology has also been added so that young Ye is rapping along to the song.
The pieces worn by Ye in the video appear to be the same assortment revealed in the YEEZY GAP Engineered by Balenciaga lookbook that released last February. Jackets, hoodies, tees, and more come in all black, save for the blue denim jacket and pants.
