Original Story (07/13/21): Originally conceived as a Tumblr page in 2011, Alex Lopez’s Youth of Paris has grown into a force to be reckoned with in the French streetwear scene. The Parisian brand is now teaming up with adidas Originals for a spin on the Campus 80s silhouette.
This Campus 80s features a black denim upper construction with black leather on the heel tab and sockliner. Distressed detailing is found throughout the shoe, primarily through the use of haphazard black stitching across the upper. Purple stitching on the eyestays and heel add some contrast to the mostly-black shoe, as does the green graffiti-style Youth of Paris branding on the tongue. The shoes comes equipped with black laces, though green and purple lace options are also available to give more life to the previously mentioned accents. The shoe also comes with a Specimen ID tag and comes in its own special box.
