German Soccer Club FC Bayern Munich has revealed its special edition adidas jersey created in celebration of 120 years since the club was founded. The jersey takes inspiration from the first domestic title win in 1932.
Elements in the hersey nod to the iconic 1932 title with a burgundy collar and sleeve with a white base. The off-white badge and minimalist detailing references the design of the jerseys worn at the title winning game. adidas also incorporated AEROREADY fabric for the jersey designed to keep athletes dry while playing.
This 120th anniversary jersey will be worn for the first and only time during the FC Bayern match against Augsburg on March 8th. The jersey is available now on adidas.com, fcbayern.com, and FC Bayern stores.
