Update (11/12/19): Aimé Leon Dore has shared an official look at their upcoming collection with New Balance. The collection gives off an autumn nature vibe, with colors inspired by the lush forests of upstate New York.

After previously previewing the 990v2, we now have a good view at the other sneaker in the collection, the 990v5. It sports the same forest green and dark pastel blue color combo as the 990v2, but provides a more subtle look with the absence of the pops of yellow. The apparel in the collection is full of fall staples dressed in the same color palette. Pieces include fleece pullovers with matching pants, scarves with special zip pockets, hoodies, knit caps and more.

The complete Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance collection will release at ALD’s flagship store in NYC on Thursday November 14 at 11am ET, followed by a release on aimeleondore.com on November 15 at 11am ET. Check out the campaign video and lookbook below.

Original Story (11/04/19): New York-based fashion and lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore is partnering up with New Balance on a collaborative collection of footwear and apparel. The partnership was announced with the release of a vintage-style New Balance campaign ad featuring a steezed out elderly woman with killer outerwear game.

Teddy Santis, founder of Aimé Leon Dore, has provided a closer look at one of the collaborative sneakers: a 990v2 dressed in a dark pastel blue and forest green upper. Dark grey overlays and yellow accents are seen on the heel and mudguard. Yellow laces match the accents and an eggshell white midsole completes the design.

The campaign photos also show another sneaker, a 990v5, but no close-up photos of the sneaker have been released. Check out the campaign photos below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more info on this upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance collab, which is expected to release in the coming weeks.
