As a result of the on-going dispute on the highly controversial bathroom bill, the NBA has decided to take the All Star Games back to New Orleans.
The All Star Games took place in New Orleans back in 2014 and was the second ASW held there in 8 years. Next year, the games are back in New Orleans after North Carolina lost it’s opportunity due to the Bathroom Bill controversy. Nike also supported this move stating that it stands “against discrimination of any kind.”
Adam Silver , the NBA’s current commissioner stated:
“New Orleans is a world-class destination for sports and entertainment and we are very appreciative that the city is once again hosting our All-Star festivities.”
