Foot Locker and Pensole Footwear Design Academy teamed up to release an exclusive ASIC Gel-Diablo as a part of their sneaker design contest.
Designed by Matt Franklin, Razma Hassani, and Blake Scordino. They all received a $12,000 reward and having their winning footwear design be released through Foot Locker. Inspired by Japanese aesthetics of Koi ponds, Silk Kimonos, and Indigo dye. This ASICS Gel-Diablo comes in a variety of textiles for its upper all following a Light Beige and tones of Indigo throughout.
ASICS Gel-Diablo Once Upon A Time In Kobe Release Date
The ASICS Gel-Diablo “Once Upon A Time In Kobe” is set to release on Saturday, September 1st at select retailers, ASICS.com and Footlocker.com with the retail price tag of $120 USD.
Roughly about 1,000 pairs will be split between 15 Foot Locker locations and the online stores, exact quantity was not revealed.
