Brooklyn In The House

The 2018-19 NBA season is over 3/4ths of the way complete and the drama has been palatable. From LeBron’s Laker struggles to the Warriors showing cracks in their championship armor. There’s been pleasurable surprises too like the Milwaukee Bucks’s league leading success to D’Angelo Russell’s impressive improvement. D’Lo been ballin’.

Smile if your name is D’Angelo and your game is poppin’ off

The Nets star would’ve never guessed he’d be in Brooklyn after his first two years in LA. Russell was pegged as the Lakers’s next all-star after being drafted 2nd over-all in the 2015 NBA Draft. Life comes at you fast sometimes though, and D-Lo was traded out of town to make room for incoming point guard, Lonzo Ball (and later cap space to sign LeBron James).

So – here we are, in March 2019, almost two full years after D’Angelo’s relocation and the Lakers might be regretting their choices. D-Lo made his first All-Star game this year, the Lakers still stink and Ball is always hurt! At this exact moment it looks like Los Angeles straight up screwed the pooch (s/o to Michael Ché).

So let’s celebrate D’Angelos year of success and take a shot for this guy (tequila or jumper, it’s up to you). Do you think D-Lo’s the most improved player in the league this year? Tell us in the comments section below!

You’re wrong if you don’t think the “Biggie” Brooklyn Nets jerseys aren’t fire.
