CLOT has teamed up with Nike to give us a new take on the classic Air Force 1 silhouette.

This Air Force 1 comes in a silk upper colored in Game Royal blue with intricate Chinese patterns embroidered throughout. Completing the look is a white midsole with a light brown gum outsole. Much like the white silk Clot Air Force 1 released last year, you can damage or burn the upper to reveal a grey base layer hidden beneath the silk finish.

This is one of three upcoming CLOT x Nike sneakers. There will also be a Rose Gold version of the Air Force 1 and a white Air Jordan 1.

The Game Royal colorway is set to release in October for a retail price of $250 USD at select retailers along with a Rose Gold version. Take a look at the silky shoe below and stay tuned for more details.

Update (10/15/19): CLOT’s lifestyle store JUICE has provided more details on the “Royale University Blue Silk” Air Force 1:

“Inspired by the concept of Yin and Yang, the shoes feature two separate layers in the upper. The top “Game Royal” layer maintains the pair’s distinct blue colorway, which peels away to reveal a hidden gray layer that has undergone a special color treatment. These two layers aim to represent the balance between externalism and internalism, reminding us that peace is something to be found within rather than through an external entity. It also represents CLOT’s message to the community, letting the world know that beauty can be found both on the outside and inside.

The “Royale University Blue Silk” Air Force 1 will be available at JUICE Sheung Wan on October 18, as well as online at starting at 12pm (HKT). Then, the shoe will be available at JUICE Shanghai (Julu Road), JUICE The Box Taipei, JUICE Taichung, JUICE Beijing and JUICE Chengdu starting on November 1 and at JUICE Los Angeles on November 11. Please stay tuned to our social accounts for more detailed release information.”

The online release time (October 18 12pm HKT) translates over to October 17 11pm CT / 12 AM ET.
