MN: When did You Start collecting?
Fredo: I’ve always loved kicks ever since I was a kid. Coming from a family of 7 I didn’t always get the newest or most expensive sneakers, but any sneaker I’d get I would appreciate to the fullest. As for Collecting or being introduced to sneakers, I got the shoe aficionado bug from my uncle. He was always fresh with the newest Jordan’s and Nikes through the 80’s and 90s. I would admire all the colors and styles. I said to myself when I get older and have some cash, I would buy myself nice shoes.
MN: When did you start collecting?
Fredo: I’ve always had small collection since I was a kid. I had about 10-20 pairs of kicks at the age of 13 but got heavily involved in 2008. I joined Niketalk and a few other pages. From that point on I knew it was serious.
MN: What’s the most underrated Air Jordan in your book?
Fredo: Air Jordan 9 – Most people hate 9s but as soon they slap “Limited” or “DB” they want them lol.
MN: Releases are you looking forward to?
Fredo: I’ve been going back to buying mainly 1999-2007. I wish I could get my hands on some OG’s but can’t seem to find any 1990 5s in my size.
MN: Whats the craziest thing you’ve ever done for a pair of sneakers?
Fredo: The craziest thing is probably wait 3 and half days for a sneaker.
