Along with Jayson Tatum and Devin Booker, Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox joins the ranks of star Nike Basketball athletes to get their own lifestyle sneaker. Fox’s pair of Air Max 1s show his love for math and science: the insole features a chalkboard-like color scheme with hand-drawn physics-related equations and diagrams. Each of the different colors on the toe boxes, mud guards, and Swooshes correspond to colors of elements found in space, because of Fox’s love for astronomy. The design is completed by the personalized “5” on the tongue and embroidered “SWIPA” nickname on the heel.
You can get the Air Max 1 “Swipa” when it releases May 30th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker, or June 1st everywhere else. Retail price is $140.
