With over 11 Grammy Nominations for To Pimp A Butterfly, Kendrick Lamar is riding his wave of success well into 2016 with his new Reebok collaboration.
Last year King Kendrick dropped his first collaboration with Reebok in the form of the Ventilator model. The shoe sold out completely to much fanfare, and now the rapper is dropping a Reebok Classic Leather model for 2016. Much like the last sneaker, the shoe pays homage to Lamar’s neighborhood with Blue and Red labels signifying the Bloods and Crips gangs (Not representing). The shoe is wrapped in a beige suede and is completed with a gum sole. “Neutral” is printed in the inner sole, showing Lamar’s stance on gang culture.
There isn’t a set release date but rumor has it these will be dropping on January 16. Stay tuned for the latest on this upcoming drop.
