Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Lakers” Release Date Revealed

0

Original Story (02/18/20): Last Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game was one for the books. The top players of the league were giving it their all (a rare sight for an All-Star Game) thanks to the new Kobe-inspired rules for the game. The game was also special because of the on-court kicks. King James debuted the LeBron 17 “Mr. Swackhammer”, while his LA Lakers teammate Anthony Davis debuted the Nike Zoom Kobe V Protro in a “Lakers” colorway.

Since Kobe Bryant’s passing, Nike has yet to release any Kobe-related merchandise. The Kobe 5 Protro “Big Stage” was scheduled to release earlier this month, but has since has been delayed. This “Lakers” colorway was also expected to see a release next month, but Nike has yet to announce any further Kobe releases.

The Nike Kobe V Protro “Lakers” was slated to release on March 26th, but expect that date to be pushed back. Grab an on-court look at the pair below.
