Swedish rapper Yung Lean reconnects with Converse for a capsule collection dubbed “Wish”, following the release of last year’s “Toxic” One Star. This time around Yung Lean enlists the help of Bladee, a fellow Swedish rapper and frequent collaborator in both apparel and music.
This year’s One Star is designed to depict how Yung Lean and Bladee see the world: “troubled, but beautiful.” It features a black upper with a shimmering silver-splashed print, reminiscent of a DIY acid-wash effect, and black leather on the eyestays and tongue. A “Wish” sketch designed by Bladee is seen on the tongue and outsole of the shoe. Orange piping on the white midsole adds a pop of color, along with the matching plaque and Sad Boys logo on the heel. Completing the look is a silver iridescent One Star emblem and translucent outsole.
The Sad Boys x Converse One Star “Wish” will drop alongside a heavyweight silver-foil printed T-shirt and a studded mini-backpack on August 28th on Sadboysgear.com and on August 29th on Converse.com. Take a look at the capsule below.
