Supreme has posted a couple teasers on Instagram for their upcoming collaboration with Jamaican dancehall and reggae icon Buju Banton. Banton saw widespread acclaim during the early 90s with the release of Stamina Daddy and Mr. Mention. His success continued into the 2000s with multiple Grammy nominations and a win for best Reggae album for his 2011 release Before the Dawn.

More recently, the reggae star was convicted for conspiracy to distribute and possession of cocaine. He was convicted in 2011 and sentenced to 10 years in federal prison. Banton was released in December of 2018.

The teaser seems to hint towards an artist photo tee as seen in previous collaborations with other musicians, such as Morrissey and Gucci Mane. Expect the Supreme x Baju Banton collab to drop this week. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more info on this collab.
