The legendary Takashi Murakami has tastefully revealed an upcoming partnership with PORTER through a string of Instagram photos and video. He offers a detailed look at new silhouettes including high top sneakers, slip-ons, and a bag.
Perhaps the crowning piece of the collection is the pair of green military-inspired boots which comes rigged with velcro straps, dual branding, and a thick gum sole embossed with a little KaiKai KiKi flower family. A high-top sneaker features an all-over flower print and a semi-transparent rubber sole, contrasting the neon yellow laces. Two pairs of slip-ons mimic their high-top counterparts in design and creative elements.
A fifth pair of shoes comes in the form of an upgraded UGG boot, still keeping the previous green canvas material and thick rubber sole. The final piece of the puzzle is a black PORTER bag, though difficult to piece together in the photo, which seems to resemble the TANKER series from early last month.
