The first lookbook for adidas x Gucci has arrived, along with launch details for the collaborative collection.
Revealed during the FW22 “Exquisite Gucci” runway show as part of Milan Fashion Week, the collaboration between Gucci and adidas is a recontextualization of sportswear through the lens of Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele. Aesthetics from both brands are playfully merged to create something distinctly new. Inspiration is pulled from ’70s styles, adding a nostalgia factor to the collab, though the collection still offers a contemporary feel.
On the Gucci website you can find the full range of items that will be releasing, a whopping 233-style lineup. Pieces include reimaginations of the classic adidas tracksuit, as well as tees, hats, skirts, bags, belts, and more. In the footwear department, we see multiple variations of the adidas x Gucci Gazelle, as well as loafers, clogs, pumps, platform sandals, and slippers.
Along with the reveal of the first adidas x Gucci lookbook, the brands have also announced that the launch of the collection will take place on June 7th at select Gucci stores, dedicated pop-ups, online on Gucci.com, and on the adidas CONFIRMED app. Check out the complete adidas x Gucci lookbook below.
