adidas Stan Smith “Being Green” Pack Release Date

Original Story (01/12/21): As part of their mission to eliminate plastic waste and offer more sustainable options, adidas has created Primegreen, a high-performance recycled material that utilizes no virgin polyester. To help promote this technology, the Three Stripes have recruited famous green characters, each getting their own shoe in an upcoming Stan Smith Primegreen “Character Pack.”

Six styles of sustainable Stan Smith shoes have been unveiled as part of this pack. Two of the styles feature Kermit the Frog, while the other four feature Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc., Marvel’s The Incredible Hulk, Tinkerbell from Disney’s Peter Pan, and Rex from Toy Story. “It’s Not Easy Bein’ Green,” a song famously sung by Kermit the Frog, is referenced on the heels of each of the shoes.

Look for this adidas Stan Smith Primegreen “Character Pack” to release in the coming weeks via adidas.com and select retailers. Check out official product images of the six styles below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for release updates.

Update (03/23/21): The adidas Stan Smith Primegreen “Being Green” pack arrives on April 1st via adidas.com and select retailers. A third “Kermit” Stan Smith has also been revealed, which releases on March 29th. Links below:
