Nike is not the only sneaker brand with a Hello Kitty collab this year, as adidas will soon be dropping a Hello Kitty edition of the Superstar.
Yes, the iconic “Shell Toe” shoe is getting the Sanrio treatment. The shoe comes in all-white with a synthetic leather upper made of 50% recycled content. The top of Hello Kitty’s head is printed on the lateral heel, with the red bow embroidered on and made of soft fleece. The heel caps come in black patent leather and feature adidas Trefoil branding in pink embroidery. More polka dots appear on the outsoles, pink on the left shoe and red on the right, matching the laces that come in pink/white and red/white. The shoe comes in a special box and is packaged with a keychain of Hello Kitty wearing an adidas tracksuit.
