Kanye West and adidas have given new life to the YEEZY 500 High silhouette in 2021, releasing the model in three colorways in the first half of the year. Following the most recent “Frosted Blue” colorway, two more colorways will join the lineup very soon: the “Sumac” and “Tactile Orange.”
The “Sumac” model gets its name from the vivid red leather overlays that dress the upper, a shade of red similar to that of wild sumac berries. The rest of the shoe comes primarily in brown, including the mesh upper panels, and the adiPRENE sole unit. A touch of indigo blue is also incorporated into its design. The “Tactile Orange” colorway features a similar color scheme, though the red overlays are replaced with navy blue ones and the sole unit comes dressed in a faded orange.
