Kanye West and adidas introduced the YEEZY Slide at the tail end of 2019 and has been a popular silhouette ever since its debut. Every colorway that’s dropped has immediately sold out and fetched a premium on resale sites. These upcoming drops will surely face the same fate.
Dropping this month is a new colorway of the YEEZY Slide called “Ochre.” This slide comes in a golden brown color with hints of slight discoloration in a striped pattern. The “Pure” colorway, originally released in April 2021, will be making its return alongside the “Ochre” debut. However, there is a new twist to both of these releases. Due to a new manufacturing technique, these slides now feature a textured surface instead of the smooth EVA foam seen on previous YEEZY Slide drops. The “Pure” also has a new SKU (GW1934) to differentiate it from the original release (GZ5554). We can expect all future YEEZY Slide releases to feature this texturing moving forward.
The adidas YEEZY Slide “Ochre” in adult, kids, and toddler sizing and the “Pure” in adult sizing will be available on Monday, December 13th on adidas.com/yeezy, Confirmed, YEEZY SUPPLY, and select retailers.
