Original Story (02/09/22): Following the model’s debut in “Slate Blue” late last year and the follow up in “Energy Glow,” the adidas YZY BSKTBL KNIT will soon be dropping in its third colorway, dubbed the “Slate Azure.”
We first got a look at the “Slate Azure” this past weekend, when Justin Laboy wore them to the Donda Doves Chicago Homecoming basketball game. It features a Primeknit upper consisting of beige and black hues, with vibrant azure blue knit on the toe. Additional features include a reflective heel cup, a cream midsole, and an azure blue outsole.
The adidas YZY BSKTBL KNIT “Slate Azure” is slated to drop this May on adidas.com/yeezy, YEEZY SUPPLY, and at select retailers, though there may be a limited shock drop planned for All-Star Weekend. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
