It’s been awhile since we’ve seen an Air Jordan 1 stay true to the 1985 release and soon, Jordan Brand will be going back to it’s roots by releasing the Bred colorway in OG form.
Although 2013 was the last time the Air Jordan 1 saw the “Bred” colorway, it still didn’t suffice as the cut was lower than usual and leather wasn’t so good. On September 3rd, Jordan Brand will be releasing another version that stays truer to the original, with a much higher cut. The Air Jordan 1 “Bred” will also see a “Banned” inspiration and feature details on the inside collar. Tumbled leathers grace the uppers, with Nike Air on the tongue giving you the closest thing to the OG.
Look out for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Banned” to release on September 3rd, 2016 for a retail price of $160.
