While Jordan Brand has officially unveiled its Summer 2021 Retro lineup, there are still other summer releases that Jordan Brand has yet to officially unveil. This includes a new “Twist” colorway of the Air Jordan 12.
This colorway gets its nickname for putting a twist on the white and red color scheme used on the OG “Cherry” Air Jordan 12 from 1997. The use of red is more subtle this time around. The pebbled leather mudguard and sole unit now come in white, matching the white leather upper for a more tonal look. Metallic red accents are found on the lace stays and on the midfoot, while additional red hits are found on the heel tab and outsole. Black also makes up the color scheme, used on the tongue branding, sockliner, heel tab, and outsole.
