Original Story (01/15/21): Looking ahead at what Jordan Brand has in store for Summer 2021 comes an “Obsidian” colorway of the Air Jordan 13. Though the release is months away, we can expect the model to have similarities from a past silhouette.
Based on early mock-ups, the shoe will come with a white leather upper with dark blue underlays leading up the tongue and at the heel. Light blue accents will dress the tongue’s Jumpman logo and outsole. The mockup suggests an homage to the 2015 Charlotte Hornets-inspired colorway, though there’s no confirmation about an actual link to the Michael Jordan-owned team in this year’s model.
The Air Jordan 13 “Obsidian” is set to release on August 14th for $190 USD. Find the shoe on SNKRS and at select retailers. We’ll keep you updated with official pictures as the release approaches.
