Original Story (05/27/19): NBA All-Star weekend will take place in Chicago next year, so you know Jordan Brand will be doing it big with the commemorative sneaker releases. We have the first word on one of those releases: a “Varsity Red/Cement Grey-Black-Varsity Red” Air Jordan 3. The color blocking is expected to pay homage to Michael Jordan’s tenure with the Chicago Bulls.

Look for the Air Jordan 3 “Chicago All-Star” to drop sometime during NBA All-Star Weekend 2020 in mid-February.

Update (01/23/20): The “Red Cement” 3s have been officially unveiled as part of Nike’s NBA All-Star Weekend Lineup. Two versions will be released — a standard “Retro SE” version with traditional Nike Air branding on the heel and a Chicago-exclusive “Retro U” version with “NIKE CHI” branding. Both release on February 15th.

Update (02/19/20): Initially released as a Chicago-exclusive, the “NIKE CHI” version of the Air Jordan 3 “Red Cement” has now appeared on Nike SNKRS. Catch the wider release on February 22nd.
