The Air Jordan 7 will be this years runner up for the Doernbecher Freestyle Project with Nike. Air Jordan’s have had a long history with the DB project and after rumors circulating around an Air Jordan 11, it’s finally confirmed that this years retro of choice will be the Air Jordan 7.
The unveiling will most likely take place between October and November so stay tuned with Modern Notoriety for more news on the Air Jordan 7 “Doernbecher”.

Update: Here’s a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 7 “Doernbecher”. Designed by OHSU patient Damien Phillips, the Air Jordan 7 “Doernbecher” draws inspiration from Damian’s love for guitars. The Air Jordan 7 will feature a black and red colorway, alongside special graphic outsoles that read “Super” and “Explosive” with a caricature of Damian playing the 6 string. Let us know if you’ll be copping the Air Jordan 7 DB this Fall.
This year’s Air Jordan model featured in the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection for 2016 is the Air Jordan 7. Designed by Damien Phillips, who takes inspiration from his love for guitars in creating this colorway of the Air Jordan 7. While unfortunately, we only have an idea of what the outsole looks like, we’ll have a full preview of the Air Jordan 7 “Doernbecher” later this October on the 28th.
