Los Angeles designer and stylist Aleali May is stepping into her comfort zone, introducing her very own unisex clothing line MAYDE WORLDWIDE.
Aleali May has dominated the streetwear game for several years, being the first woman to design and release her own retro Jordan sneaker. Just last year, she released her fifth Jordan collection, featuring the Air Jordan 14 Low. Now the designer is doing her own thing, revealing her Los Angeles-inspired apparel collection built for comfort.
MAYDE WORLDWIDE is a manifestation of Aleali styles as she is heavenly inspired by L.A culture. The debut collection is full of essentials that can be integrated into an existing wardrobe, with styles including an oversized hoodie, cropped pullover hoodie, joggers, tank tops, a flight bra, and biker shorts. For the first drop, May offers the pieces in cobalt blue, a favorite of Angeleno’s.
“As a consumer, I’m always looking for options to blend with my daily looks and designer collectibles. As a designer, I’m recognizing that certain cuts on garments don’t exist yet,” explains Aleali May. “As a stylist, I work with artists that are on the go, constantly traveling and need something to layer or build on. Something quick and comfortable, but has those key details that make them unique. Even behind the scenes as a stylist, I need something to last me through those long days on set.”
