Reebok’s revival of the Answer IV in celebration of the model’s 20th anniversary kicked off in April with the return of the OG red colorway. Along with the white/black colorway worn by Allen Iverson in Games 4 and 5 of the 2001 NBA Finals, Reebok will also be bringing back the colorway worn by AI in Game 1.
This matchup between the 76ers and the Lakers contains one of the most memorable moments in Allen Iverson’s career: stepping over former Lakers guard Ty Lue after draining a jumper that put Philly up late in overtime, ultimately winning the game. Nicknamed the “Step Over” after this iconic moment, this Answer IV comes dressed in a black and white color blocking, with black leather dressing the bottom half of the upper and white leather on top.
