Anderson .Paak has made some major moves since in the past couple years. Most notably, the multi-faceted musician teamed up with Bruno Mars to form Silk Sonic, together winning four Grammy awards in 2022. Paak also joined Vans as the brand’s first Global Music Ambassador in 2020, and is now reuniting with the brand for a third installment of the ongoing partnership between the Southern California natives.
Dubbed the “Vanderson” collection, .Paak delivers a selection of Vans styles inspired by his community, family, and West Coast roots. Leading the collection is Anderson’s very own silhouette, the EPaak Sport. The upper is made up of black suede adorned with a unique paisley pattern. “APESHIT” branding with a graphic of a gorilla holding a lightning bolt is displayed on the tongue.
Following is the Vanderson Authentic, equipped with a pale yellow upper adorned with a more conventional paisley pattern on the upper, insole, and sock liner. Finally, the Vans Old Skool is outfitted with a corduroy upper in moss green. The tongue showcases .Paak himself in a vintage portrait style graphic. The trio of footwear also incorporates a custom outsole design with the words “Sick” and “Vibes” in large lettering.
Rounding out the collection is an assortment of apparel from graphic tees, paisley pattern pants with jacquard stitching, a jacket with paisley on the inner lining, and a reversible bucket hat.
The Vans and Anderson .Paak “Vanderson” collection is set to launch on June 24th on Vans.com along with select retailers.
