After dropping at “atmos Blue” edition of the shoe earlier this year, atmos is now releasing a second collaboration on the adidas Adimatic, dubbed the “OG Shoebox.”
While adidas is historically known for its blue shoeboxes, during the original release of the adidas Adimatic in 1996, the shoes came in a brown cardboard box with black stripes. atmos is paying homage to this OG shoebox with its latest Adimatic collab, dressing the cult-classic skate shoe in brown suede with black accents on the Three Stripes, sockliner, and heel. The graphics on the insoles depict a wall of these original shoeboxes, while the equipped leather hangtag is made to resemble the standard paper tag equipped on the OG shoes. As a final but crucial touch, the shoes themselves come in the OG brown box.
The atmos x adidas Adimatic “OG Shoebox” releases at atmos locations across Asia and on atmo-tokyo.com on September 17th.
