Global sneaker retailer atmos will be releasing an ASICS GEL-LYTE III crafted from white Japanese Okayama denim.
This is not the first time ASICS digs into their Japanese roots with the use of Okayama denim, as we’ve seen this before in 2015, 2016, and beyond. However, this is probably the best execution yet. Ivory denim dresses the shoe’s base, eyelet overlays, and split tongue, with matching smooth leather on the toe, heel, and side stripes. The tonal look is accented by brown leather on the heel panel and patches on the tongue and lateral heel.
The ASICS GEL-LYTE III “White Denim” releases on August 20th at atmos Japan (raffle open now). The shoe will also be releasing soon at atmos locations across Asia and the USA. Stay tuned for additional release info.
