Marking the Spring season comes an atmos Japan and adidas “Setsuban” collection. As the beginning of the Japanese calendar, festivities for the “seasonal division” in Japan cleanse any bad spirits and fortunes for the year to come, fitting for the sneaker and apparel pieces of the collection.
You can find ZX 8000s and ZX 2K BOOSTs, long sleeve T-shirts designed by animator TAROU2, all of which go all out for the Spring season. atmos Tokyo’s ZX 8000 “Setsubun” mimics three woven demons depicted in red, green and blue. You can find the demon on the tongue and its respective fortune on the interior. Red and blue suede complement the cream leather which contrast the traditional tiger fur.
As for the ZX 2K BOOST, a more laidback approach takes form with black suede providing canvas for the blue, green and red woven heel and tongue. More tiger fur takes up the upper heel while black fur finds its way to the tongue. A gold hoop can be found on the heel to replicate those worn on the ears of demons. A BOOST sole rounds out the construction, finished with red.
