Following in the footsteps of brands like adidas and GAP, BAPE has announced that it too will be entering the NFT space with a new project titled (B)APETAVERSE.
(B)APETAVERSE will include 10,000 unique NFTs brought to you by BAPE, which based on teasers, the artwork looks like it will feature realistic digital renderings of the APE HEAD logo. The official description on the (B)APETAVERSE reads: “All beings of the Metaverse, come greet The King of Apes, whose new face shall be unveiled soon.” The project promises to offer the most dedicated BAPE fans exclusive access to the brand’s content.
With an ape-based NFT project, Bored Ape Yacht Club, already leading the space, it’ll be interesting to see how well (B)APETAVERSE is accepted by the NFT community. It does appear that there is significant interest, as over 50,000 people have already joined the (B)APETAVERSE Discord channel.
