Following the launch of its “Range Green” Reebok Club C, Bodega is back with another sneaker collaboration for its 15 year anniversary celebration, this time teaming up with ASICS on the GEL-MC PLUS silhouette.
The Boston-based retailer has chosen a springtime-inspired color scheme for the project to welcome in the return of blue skies, green grass, and warmer weather. Pops of yellow, purple, blue, cyan, and orange are found throughout the shoe, though the majority of the upper comes dressed in grey, resulting in a shoe that is colorful but not too colorful. Bodega has also made some material tweaks to the silhouette, equipping it with waffle-patterned mesh, textured suede, and perforated leather paneling. Bodega branding is found on the nylon midfoot strap. The shoe comes with an extra set of orange laces and an orange co-branded keychain.
