Brain Dead, the proven masters of graphic apparel, have taken to Instagram to tease a follow-up to last year’s incredible collaboration with the North Face.
November’s collection featured graphic and playful renditions of TNF’s tried and true gear and generally centered around garments suitable for the (at the time) oncoming winter. This year’s collection, however, appears to be centered around rock climbing: Brain Dead’s initial teaser showcased a molded plastic climbing hold in the shape of the Brain Dead x TNF logo seen on last year’s apparel, and they later uploaded a picture of world-famous climbing phenom Ashima Shiraishi sporting a pair of co-branded shorts and a Brain Dead chalk bag. (Shiraishi was also featured as the spokeswoman for Brain Dead’s collaborative climbing shoe with Evolv earlier this year.) Finally, the brand shared a picture of what appears to be three Brain Dead takes on TNF’s extremely popular Base Camp duffel.
