LeBron’s name is constantly thrown into the “GOAT” conversation talks when it comes to NBA greats. On the WNBA side, the greatest player of all time is arguably Diana Taurasi. GOAT meets GOAT on a new colorway of the Nike LeBron 18: the Diana Taurasi x Nike LeBron 18 “La Cabra.”
The name “La Cabra” (“the goat” in Spanish) pays respect to Taurasi’s Argentinian and Italian roots and her constant winning on the court. This colorway of the Nike LeBron 18 features a black knitted upper with ivory laces and rubber sole, contrasted with red accents throughout. There’s subtle hits of light green on the outsole and at the top heel of the shoe, really creating a nice colorway. Across the heel tab on the shoe are a repeating print of Spanish words that include “la cabra,” “campeona” (“champion”), “la mejor ganadora” (“the best winner”), and “tres,” a nod to Taurasi’s 3x WNBA champion accolade. Finishing off the design is a billy goat and basketball logo on each tongue and the insoles.
