After teaming up on the Half Cab last year and the Skate Mid Skool this past April, Vans and Dime Skateboards are connecting once again, this time to introduce a new model called the Wayvee. The low-top model was designed from the ground up with input from the skateboarding community, paying respect to the history of skate shoes while pushing skate footwear performance and style forward.

The new silhouette features performance-oriented details such as reinforced translucent mesh quarter panels for maximum flex and breathability and a DURACAP toe to prolong the life of the shoe. The upcoming model also includes LuxLiner on the interior that provides a supportive and comfortable sock-like fit. The “Off The Wall” brand’s revolutionary Wafflecup outsole grounds the Wayvee, giving skaters the best of both worlds: cupsole support and vulcanized boardfeel.

For the collaboration, Dime adds luxe suede to the Wayvee, with embroidered branding on the tongue and heel for an elevated look. The Montreal-based skate brand’s signature yellow is found on the insoles and the “Off The Wall” heel scab. As a final touch, the clear outsoles feature Dime branding printed beneath the surface.

The Dime x Vans Wayvee releases in “Evening Blue” and “Egret” colorways on July 17th at  select skate shops and on July 24th on vans.com.
